When I heard about Rich’s passing, it hit me very hard. He was my dear friend. He was funny. He was silly. He was a joker. He made me laugh. At Panera, he was the entertainment and was known as the man of a thousand voices. He always drew a big crowd. When I went there Saturday, it seemed empty without him. He will be missed by all his friends, and there were many.

Mark Skidmore – He was quite a character and a super nice guy. Sorry to hear. I was “assigned” to him as a new underwriter. He would walk in his requirements. And I would go over files with him. Like 1999. It was a different time for sure.

Janet Pecararo – Oh my gosh! I’m so sad to hear this. We had a long history from the Zurich days. There were days that were trying, but he was always very good to me. It was nice to reconnect with him when he moved in to the same office building we were in before we moved 2 years ago. He would always stop by for a visit and bring a smile to my face. What a shame. I’m sure he will be missed by many.

I’ll post more as received – my condolences to the whole family – but know we loved him and considered Rich to be a true friend!
